make sure to load up on the protein like crazy especially if you are on a calorie deficit(body needs protein from somewhere and if you don't get enough it will take it from your own muscle) as for ti stunting your growth, i looked it up, as long as you are using good form and aren't overloading too much on the weights it shouldn't make a real difference, but if you take more weight than your skeleton can handle your growth will be stunted, another reason to lay off of lower body just a little(not much)
