Problem With Command And Conquer: Generals

    Whenever I try to start the game, the message "The DINPUT8.DLL file is linked to missing export ADVARI32.DLL:AddAccessAllowedAceEx." Anyone know how I make that stop?

    Well dude, I have no idea on errors for that game. But probably if you Reinstall it, it will probably clear it up. MSG here for more help.

    I have no experience of that error, but google it and you're sure to find something about it. If not, do what LeathalDeath said and reinstall the game

    You won't find a way to fix it on Google, you will have to reinstall the game.

    try reinstaling it ,thats what i do when it gets errors.

    Is it a copy :D if not reinstall might solve problem as said :D

    They 50/50 chance is either of those two files is corrupt happens often with games Defrag u comp see if that help if not stick in the two install CDs ad see if u can hunt either of the two files on disk if u finr them move them to the folder where they are on ur PC overwrite the old ones and prob should be solved if not get onto EA or westwood whoever makes those games now
